Sadly our favorite shoes tend to be the ones we wear the most, so they start to get a little scuffed up. Luckily leather ones can be fixed with a little leather dye. Here’s how…
Start with a leather shoe and take a very slightly damp cloth and wipe the shoe off.
Get a leather dye that’s the same color as your shoe. You can usually find them at shoe and purse repair shops or online here, http://www.cedarshoetree.com/meltonian-cream-1oz-p-28.html.
First test to make sure it’s the right color in an unnoticeable spot. If it matches, then use a rag cloth to spread a thin layer over the whole shoe. Then, rub it in.
Take a dry cloth and rub it really fast to buff it and make it shiny.
Wait for your shoes to dry for about an hour and voilà!
